i have an unfounded fear of eyes and can't look into people's eyes for too long before i feel creeped out. nevertheless i find eyes very fascinating. in this work I asked people if they had similar strange fascinations. i used mezzotint cardboard to transform the results of the surveys into a fascinating visual world in which it is not entirely clear what is being depicted. the composition is accompanied by the lyrics of the song “people are strange” by the doors.
